James Kenneth "Kenny" Lucas, Jr.

James Kenneth “Kenny” Lucas, Jr., age 52 of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of James Lucas and the late Brenda Knight Whitaker. Kenny was employed in the construction industry. He loved to hunt and fish. He cherished the time he spent with his wife and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Pettit Lucas; his father, James Lucas and his wife, Mary Alice; his daughter, Kristin Faile; his son, Nicholas Faile; 8 grandchildren, Adalynn, Laekynn, Teegan, Ryker, Chanslee, Kashton, Braxton and Luxton; his half-brother, Christopher and one sister.

No formal services will be held at this time, A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
