James Dean Blackmon

James Dean Blackmon, age 66, of Heath Springs, S.C. passed away, Friday, September 19, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland, Columbia, S.C. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of the late Bobby Blackmon and Susie Lucas. He was a former employee of Duracell.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Hannah K. McElveen and her husband, Damien and children, Kammi McElveen and Weston McElveen and Buffie Plyler and her husband, Cody Ballard and children, Shawn Mangum and Trey Mangum and a brother, Jimmy Odom and his wife Miranda all of Kershaw, S.C. He is also survived by his former wife, Cynthia Rollings of Kershaw, S.C.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Squires and a sister, Tammy Vincent.
