James Nicholas "Jamey" Adams

James Nicholas “Jamey” Adams, age 48 of Kershaw, SC, was born on March 16, 1977, in Lancaster, SC. Jamey passed away, Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was the son of Vickie Sowell Geiger and Howard Geiger and the late James Clyde Adams. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1995. Jamey loved his family and enjoyed taking his grandkids to the park each day after school. He was an avid Clemson fan and everyone who knew him knew he loved his Tigers. He was a believer and of Baptist faith.

He was a former employee of the Town of Kershaw, SC and Conbraco of Pageland, SC.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Savannah Hope Adams of Kershaw, SC; his son, Carson James Adams of Olar, SC; his sisters, Melissa Adams (Chris) of Monroe, NC and Tonya Geiger of Kershaw, SC and his brother, Dwayne Geiger of Orangeburg, SC. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Emily Sowell of Kershaw, SC, in addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Sowell and paternal grandmother, Idell Adams.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of his grandmother, Emily Sowell.

A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday immediately following the visitation at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The Revs. Tommy Richardson and Mitchell Austin will officiate. The burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

The family ask that those attending the service please wear Clemson colors.
