George William Stanford

George William Stanford, age 70, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his home. Born in Fort Mill, S.C., he was a son of the late William Earl Stanford and Mary Bradshaw Stanford. He was a crane operator in the steel industry. Mr. Stanford also was a United States Marine serving his country from 1972 until 1976.

He is survived by 2 sons, William Earl Stanford, II of Kershaw, S.C. and George William Stanford, II of Lancaster, S.C., 3 grandchildren: 2 brothers, Andrew and Floyd and 2 sisters, Vicky and Gina.

No formal funeral services will be held at this time.
