Ernest Lavon Faile

Services for Ernest Lavon Faile, 72, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 21, 2008, in Charlesboro Baptist Church. The Revs. Buddy Thomas, Buford Hayes and Rodney Nicholson will officiate.

Born in Lancaster Co. , he was the son of the late Ernest and Nezzie Gregory Faile. He was retired from the South Carolina Highway Department and a member of Charlesboro Baptist Church. Mr. Faile also served in the National Guard.

Surviving are his wife; Biddy Faile, a daughter; Cheryl Ann Faile, two sons; Russell Henry Faile and John Stanley Faile all of Kershaw, 2 grandchildren; Richard Dean Holcomb and Allison Nicole Holcomb, two sisters; Elsie Faile of Indiana, Patricia Faile of Lancaster and a brother; Bobby Faile of Kershaw. He was preceded in death by a son; Ernest Richard Faile.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, August 20, 2008, from 6 to 7 P.M. At Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home of his brother, 8185 Taxahaw Road.
