Eliza Mae Stevens

Eliza Mae Stevens, age 80, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Atrium Health Union, Monroe, N.C. Born in Kershaw, S.C., she was a daughter of the late James Deas and Bessie Mae Ivey Deas. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Eugene “Buck” Baker and his wife, Linda of Dowson Springs, KY; her grandson, Christopher Baker; her granddaughter, Michelle Abbott; 3 great grandchildren, Kyleigh Vinson, Paislee Vinson, and James Walker; 2 brothers, Carl Deas, and William Deas; 3 sisters, Donna Price, Betty Starnes and Maxine Stogner; In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ben Stevens; a granddaughter, Jessica Leigh Vinson; 3 husbands, Ralph Jimmy Baker, Willie Hazel Stevens and Jessie Payne and siblings, Kay Deas, Margie Stevens, Jean Simmons, Lewis Deas and Coleman Deas.

A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Baker Funeral Home. A service will follow the viewing at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
