Dorothy Faulkenberry Williams

Funeral services for Dorothy Faulkenberry Williams, 92, will be held at 2:00 P.M, Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The Revs. Jamie Rogers and Don Knight will officiate. Mrs. Williams, widow of Ross Edward Williams died Thursday, July 28, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Lula Hendrix Faulkenberry. Mrs. Williams was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church, Mother's Sunday School Class and a homemaker. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking. Surviving are 4 sons; Gary (Yvette) Williams of Lancaster, Danny (Linda) Williams, Ricky Williams and Irbie (Wanda) Williams all of Kershaw, her daughter-in-law; Judy S. Williams of Lancaster, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son; Roger Dale Williams and a great grandson; Hank Edward Williams. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
