Donald David Ingram, age 72, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Monday morning, June 30, 2025, at his home. Born in Lancaster, S.C. he was a son of the late John Ingram and Nell Hayes Ingram. David was a graduate of Lancaster High School and retired from Continental General Tire after 26 years of service. He was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Sherwood Baptist Church Championship Softball Team and coached girls’ softball. He enjoyed classic cars. He was in the process of restoring his beloved 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle he called “Maliblu”.
David is survived by his wife, Paula Sowell Ingram; 3 children, Melissa Ingram (Randy) Steele, Nikki Ingram (Ricky) Cox and Amanda Ingram Baker; 2 stepchildren, Nicole Gardner (Heath) Trull and William B. Gardner; 8 grandchildren, David Baker, Zach Baker, Brianna Hodges, Zane Hunter, Gabe Hodges, Jake Steele, Caity Steele and Liam Trull; his sister, Phyllis Ingram (Ronnie) Mills and nieces and nephews including, Phillip Ingram, Melanie Bell, Kristen Jackson and Erica Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Ingram and his wife Linda.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, July 1, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson, S.C. Mr. Rick Joyner will officiate. The burial will follow in the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Agape Hospice, 311-B North Main Street, Lancaster, S.C. 29720.
