Doil Jackson Crenshaw, age 97, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, at his home. Born in Lancaster County, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John Smith Crenshaw and Dessie Brazell Crenshaw.
Mr. Crenshaw was a proud United States Army veteran and served as a member of the 713th AAA Gun Battalion (90MM). He was an accomplished cabinet maker and carpenter, known for his skill and craftsmanship. In his free time, he enjoyed a good round of golf and, most importantly, cherished the time he spent with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Ricky (Vanessa) Crenshaw and Dale Crenshaw, both of Heath Springs, South Carolina; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Gwendolyn B. Crenshaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sons, Donald and Ronald Crenshaw; two sisters, Evelyn C. Hunter and Mazie C. Bailey; and six brothers, Curtis Lee Crenshaw, Elroy Crenshaw, Pervas Crenshaw, Travis Crenshaw, Troy Crenshaw, and William R. Crenshaw.
A graveside service to celebrate and honor his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Ridgeview Cemetery (formerly Oak Ridge A.R.P. Church Cemetery), 2774 McIlwain Road, Heath Springs, South Carolina, with military honors. Rev. Steve Anglin will officiate, and burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, South Carolina.
