Derek Eugene Varnadore

Derek Eugene Varnadore, 63, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Tuesday evening, February 16, 2021, at his home. Born in Jacksonville, N.C., he was a son of the late Leslie Varnadore and Margaret Christine Dover Varnadore. He enjoyed fishing, camping and dirt track racing.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Gillespie; 3 sons, Jonathan Michael (Deanne) Crowe, Justin Nicholas (Amanda) Crowe and Christopher Leslie (Dana) Varnadore; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Bailey, Ethan, Adam and Abagayle; 2 brothers, Dean Varnadore and Steve (Sharon) Varnadore.

The family will receive friends, Thursday evening, February 18, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the home of Lewis and Leigh Floyd, 6910 Highway 341, Kershaw, S.C. 29067.

Following Mr. Varnadore’s wishes, he will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
