Deborah Jan Rogers

Deborah Jan Rogers, 76, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Friday, March 20, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Kershaw County, South Carolina, to the late Carl Lucas and Nellie Kate Taylor Lucas.

Debbie, as she was affectionately known, had a kind soul and a strong will. It was only natural that she found her life’s calling as a registered nurse, where those qualities were so essential. She loved her USC Gamecocks and cherished her family—even those who were Clemson fans—with all her heart.

She is survived by her brother and best friend, Mark; her daughter, Stacey; her son, Chris; and her four grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Logan, and Gavin.

A graveside inurnment service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Kershaw City Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, South Carolina.
