Deborah Mungo Huddleston, age 71, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2024, at MUSC Health, Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Albany, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Bruce Gay Mungo, Sr. and Anne Taylor Mungo. Deborah was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1971. She was a welder and field accountant. She loved to cook, garden and listen to music. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach. Family was most important to her. She cherished the time she spent with the love of her life, Paul.
Surviving is her husband of 14 years, Paul Michael Huddleston, her granddaughter, Amber Caskey; her grandson, Gauge Tyler Caskey; her sister, Lisa Mungo Munn and her husband, Mike; her brother-in-law, Eugene Brown; numerous nieces, numerous nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alan Bell Caskey; her stepson, Daniel Franklin Parker Sullivan; her brother, Bruce Gay “Bo Bo” Mungo, Jr. and her sister, Shirley Mungo Brown.
The family will receive friends, Friday evening, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. A note card will be provided for you to write your favorite memory of Deborah for the family to have a keepsake.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024, from the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family asks you to please bring your love and a favorite memory to share to honor Deborah’s life. She touched so many.
Deborah always supported Samaritan’s Purse. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, N.C. 28607 in her memory.
