Cynthia Rose Votipka Navarro, 66, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away with her family by her side on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, S.C. She was the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and always made those around her feel welcomed and appreciated. Born in Alexandria, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Charles M. Votipka and Mrs. Fern DeWald Votipka. Following high school, Cynthia served her country in the United States Army. From there, she spent many years as a medical technologist at Baptist Hospital before becoming a Sr. Systems Analyst with the IT department. She retired from Prisma Health after more than 35 years. Cynthia most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved sitting on her front porch overlooking the family farm.

Her favorite hobbies were gardening and tending to her plants, baking, cross-stitch and puzzles.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Rick Navarro; 4 children, Kendria Clark and her husband, Marty, Andrea Robbins and her husband, Travis, Edwin Navarro and his wife, Cherrish and Alicia Starke and her husband, Tyler; 5 grandchildren, Allie, Madison, Lillian, Isabelle and Nathan and 9 siblings, Kathy, Tom, Nancy, Pauline, David, Joanne, Mark, Ben, and Rhonda. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 siblings, John, Dan and Mary Jane.
