Cynthia Jones "Cindi" Horton

Cynthia Jones Horton, age 64, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Monday morning, August 4, 2025, at her home. Born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Larry Jones and Pat Dawson Jones. Cindi as she was affectionately known, was formerly employed as a quality control analyst in the manufacturing industry. She loved to listen to music and spend time by her swimming pool. She also enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Cindi cherished the time she spent with her friends and family, making people laugh.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 45 years, Tim Horton; her daughter, Cassie Mayer; 2 granddaughters, Ryan (Tyler) Hall and Camryn Jordan; her great granddaughter, Emberlyn Stephens; 3 brothers, Hugh (Marybeth) Jones, Larry (Cathy) Jones and Jack Jones and her sister, Cecilia (Rodney) Laws.

A service celebrating her life will be held privately on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate.
