Carrie Baker Hinson

A graveside inurnment service for Carrie Baker Hinson, 93 of Kershaw, will be held at 1:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, September 7, in Kershaw City Cemetery. Rev. Richard Anthony and Rev. Ronnie Hinson will officiate.

Mrs. Hinson, loving wife of the late John Stanley Hinson, passed away, Monday, September 2, at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Pete Baker and Henrietta Farmer Baker. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School at the church, working puzzles, reading and cats.

Surviving are a niece, Ann Baston; 3 nephews, Buddy (Sandra) Catoe, Tim (Paula) Catoe and Joel Catoe; a number of great nieces and nephews and a number of great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
