Carolyn Boone Baker

A graveside service for Carolyn Boone Baker, 61 of Camden will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, in Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Burch Kelly will officiate. The family will receive friends, anytime at the home, 1423 Davis Street and following the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Baker, widow of Celtis E. Baker, Sr. died Friday, May 9, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Willie Raymond Harvey Boone and Edith B. Boone. She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. Surviving are her daughter, Carolyn O.L. “Sissy” Baker of Bethune; 2 sons, Austin E. Baker and Cletis E. “Eddie” Baker, Jr. both of Camden; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Curtis and Edward and 3 sisters, Vera Lou, Marilyn and Laura. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw is serving the Baker family.
