Brian E. "Larry" Sims

Brian Edward “Larry” Sims, age 29, of McBee, S.C., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was a son of Erik Escobedo and Rachel Gail Sims.

Brian loved to fish, camp, hunt, swim and spend time with his family. He was a true outdoors man.

He is survived by his parents of Kershaw, S.C.; fiancé, Courtany Setzer of McBee, S.C.; 2 daughters, Olivia Sims, and Avia Dixon both of McBee, S.C.; his sister, Jasmine Sims of Lancaster, S.C.; 2 brothers, Michael Belk and Cody Sims both of McBee, S.C.; maternal grandmother, Rachel Stoudt of Lancaster, S.C. and best friends, Lee Hicks and Danny Case.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C.
