Bobby Lee Faile

Bobby Lee Faile, 89, of Camden, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2026, at MUSC Downtown in Columbia, South Carolina.

Born on May 5, 1937, in Lancaster, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jake Faile and Bessie Byrd Faile. Mr. Faile retired from the Small Business Administration after many years of dedicated service.

Mr. Faile enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, watching classic cowboy movies, and taking leisurely drives. He especially enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains and took pride in staying physically fit. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Michael Todd Faile; his daughters, Angela Faile Buckley and her husband, John, and Beth Lee Faile; his grandchildren, Michael Chris DeViney, Blair Cearley, and Haley Cearley; and his five great-grandchildren, Klarissa, Carrigan, Eden, Olive, and Finn.

He is also survived by his brother, Billy Faile; his sister-in-law, Jeanette Faulkenberry Faile; and a number of cherished nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Faile was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Stella Reynolds Faile, and his brothers, Danny Faile and Julius L. "Buddy" Faile.

A memorial service celebrating Bobby's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, South Carolina. The Rev. Steve Winburn will officiate.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
