Bivian Jeanette Napper

Bivian Jeanette Napper, age 72, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Friday morning, August 15, 2025, at Agape House of Lexington, Lexington, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C. she was a daughter of Jeanette “Billie” Mahaffey Banks and the late James Melvin Banks. Bivian was a beloved clerk for Lancaster County Natural Gas Authority for many years. Her smile was always infectious. She loved life and the people around her and it showed. She attended Abney Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Brant “Hurt” Boan and his wife, Kelly; 6 grandchildren, Nathan Beckham, Kane Boan, Ally Beckham, Brantley Boan, Bently Beckham and Ma’Kyiah Clyburn; 4 sisters, Marilyn (Ray) Griffin, Tammie (Keith) Moore, Wendy (Jamie) Willis and Robin (Kevin) Roberts and 2 brothers, Roger (Brenda) Banks and Russell (Tammy) Banks. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Allen Napper, Jr. and a brother, Larry Banks.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

A funeral service to celebrate and remember her life will be held immediately following the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Robinson will officiate.

The burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, 2486 Mt. Hebron Road, Cassatt, S.C. 29032.
