Betty Jean Wright

Betty Jean Adams Wright, age 73, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Monday afternoon, February 5, 2024, at her home. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William Franklin Adams and Mattie Robinson Adams. She was a homemaker. Her greatest joy was loving and feeding her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Gene Wright; her daughter, Tammy Robertson; her son, Bobby (Laura) Wright, Jr.; grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Adams, Amy Williams, Tripp Wright, Page Wright, Troy Wright, Tiffany (Matt) Thrasher, and Ashley Aldana; 3 sisters, Charlene (Ken) Hargett, Linda (Buddy) Stevens and Kathy Corder; her brother, Ricky (Brenda) Adams and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Williams, and her grandson Spud Williams; 2 sisters, Patty Wallace and Jackie West and a brother, Mickey Adams.

The family will hold a memorial service to honor her memory, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the home, 893 Taylor Drive, Lancaster, S.C.
