Betty Jean "Ella" Beck

Betty Jean “Ella” Pruitt Beck, age 87, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at MUSC Health-Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Memphis, TN, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Palmer Pruitt and Pearlie Mae Little Pruitt. She was a homemaker and loved to sing.

The family will hold a memorial service to remember the life of Mrs. Beck at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Victory Worship Center, Lancaster, S.C. where she was a member. Pastor Brian Barton will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church Fellowship Hall.

She is survived by 6 children, Mike Wells, Cynthia Smith, Dyrenda Patterson, Paul Wells, Gary Wells and Shelley Phillips and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Beck; a grandson, Adam Beck, and her brother and four sisters.
