Bernice Roberts Stogner

Bernice Roberts Stogner, 86, wife of the late Bruce Stogner passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009, at her home. Born August 14, 1923, in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Doc Franklin and Louvenia Scott Roberts. Mrs. Stogner was a member of of Kershaw Second Baptist Church and was a member of the Kershaw Senior Citizens. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a son; Barry Stogner and his wife Lynn and two grandsons; Joseph and Benjamin Stogner all of Columbia . She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. at the Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Rev. Don Knight will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
