Obituary for Willie Hazel Robinson
A funeral service for Willie Hazel Robinson, 89, of Kershaw, SC, Retired Master Sergeant, US Army, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Friday, April 7, 2017, at the home of his daughter. Born in Kershaw, SC. he was a son of the late Willie and Mayo Small Robinson. He served over 22 years in the US military and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. He was married to the late Vera Robinson.
Surviving are his daughter, Beverly R. Arnold and her husband Ralf; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Lewis, Kathryn Lewis, Danny Lopez and Justin Arnold all of New Jersey; 2 sisters, Sara Grier and her husband Joe, Polly Broughton and her husband Olin; 3 brothers, Steve Robinson and his wife Gloria, Heyward Robinson and his wife Mary and Olin Robinson and his wife Terry. He was preceded in death by siblings, Lucille Brown, Mabel West, William Robinson and Annette Deese.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
