Obituary for Willie Belle Lucas
Funeral services for Willie Belle Catoe Lucas, 78 of Kershaw, S.C., will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, at 2:00 o’clock p.m. in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The Revs. Dr. Jason Moss and Ronnie Hinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends immediately following the burial in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucas, loving wife of the late Howard Willis “Buckshot” Lucas died Saturday, November 9, 2019, in MUSC – Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Willie C. and Jessie Bell Brasington Catoe. She retired from Grace Finishing Plant and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lucas is survived by a daughter, Joy Broome and her husband Russell of Rock Hill, S.C.; a son, Rusty Lucas and his wife Amy of Kershaw, S.C., ; four grandchildren, Amber Broome Williams and her husband Bryan, Brett Lucas and his wife Alexis, Ansley Lucas and Hayley Broome; two great grandchildren, Ethan Williams and Owen Williams. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Horton of Lancaster, S.C. and Wilma Robertson of Kershaw, S.C.
