Obituary for William "Billy" Estridge
William Blackmon “Billy” Estridge, 78, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Friday, May 14, 2021, at his home. Born in Lancaster County, S.C., he was a son of the late Furman Calhoun “F.C.” Estridge and Iva Mae Catoe Estridge. He was a graduate of Flat Creek High School and was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Estridge was the owner of Estridge Farms and enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Surviving are his wife, Diane Estridge of 53 years; his daughter, Cynthia Ann Estridge; his son, Richard Rorie; his grandson, Corey Bracey; 2 sisters, Anita (Walker) Ragin of Hopkins, S.C., Mae Outen of Camden, S.C.; 2 brothers, Carl (Kim) Estridge of Columbia, S.C. and Jack (Linda) Estridge of Kershaw, S.C.; his brother-in-law, David Rorie and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, F.C. Estridge, Jr. and a sister, Yvonne Parker.
A service to celebrate his life will be held, Sunday, May 23, 2021, at 2:00 o’clock p.m. in the sanctuary of Midway Baptist Church. The Revs. Steve Warren and Todd Montgomery will officiate.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
