Obituary for William "Bill" Morris, Jr.
William H. “Bill” Morris, Jr., 76, died Monday, September 14, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late William H. Morris, Sr. and Evelyn Rose Morris. Mr. Morris had retired as an auditor with the S.C. State Tax Commission and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was also a member of Pacific Masonic Lodge # 325 – Olympia and a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Morris loved to fish, hunt and work in his garden.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Young Morris; two daughters, Susan Rebecca Allen and Kathy Renee Poole (Eric) both of Leesville; a son, William H. Morris, III of Leesville; a step daughter, Cynthia Bolin (Troy) of Westville; two step sons, Len B. Hinson (Tammie) of Rock Hill, and Daryl Hinson of Kershaw; three grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and one great grandson; a brother, Charles F. Morris of Columbia; a sister, Patricia Waddell of Garden City, Michigan,and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 18, at 2:00 p.m. in Bethany Westville Baptist Church with Rev. Craigan Blankenship officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church Family Life Center. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia, S.C.
