Wilbert L. "Buddy" Johnson, Jr.

Wilbert L. “Buddy” Johnson, Jr., 44 of Kershaw, died Thursday, September 28, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Camden, he was a son of Oletta Mae Thompson and the late Wilbert Lee Johnson, Sr. He was a former employee of Chesterfield Yarn Mills. He loved to work on small engines and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Kershaw are his 2 sisters, Emma (Scott) Hayes of Kershaw and Faye (Jeff) Small of Elgin; 4 nieces, Amanda Barnes, Shelly Hayes, Crystal Hayes, Aleighia Small and a nephew, Brandon Outen. Also surviving are 2 great nephews, Peyton Outen and Braydn Barnes; a great niece, Lizzy Mahaffey and his uncle, Benny Thompson of Newark, Ohio.

A memorial service will be held at a later date which will be announced.
