Obituary for Tommy Lewis Gordon, Jr.
Tommy Lewis Gordon, Jr., age 83, passed away, Monday, May 24, 2021, in Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, S.C. Born in Chesterfield Co., he was a son of the late Tom Lewis Gordon, Sr. and Della Usher Gordon. Mr. Gordon was retired from the textile industry and a United States Army veteran. He was married to the late Barbara Ann Greene Gordon, who predeceased him in 2009. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan High.
Surviving are his 2 sons, Gregory Gordon and his wife, Anna of Columbia, S.C. and Mark Gordon and his friend, Melissa Miller of Camden, S.C.; 2 grandchildren, Erica Gordon and Ryan Hunter Gordon and 3 sisters, Nancy Shute and her husband, Ray, Paulette Ellis and Sue Knight and her husband, Jerry all of Lancaster, S.C.
A service to remember his life will be held at a later date. He will be interred next to his wife in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs, S.C.
