Obituary for Terry M. McManus
Terry McNaughton McManus, 59, of Lancaster, S.C., passed away, Wednesday evening, June 8, 2022, at her home. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on January 25, 1963, she was a daughter of Alvin Leon McNaughton and Carol Peters McNaughton. Terry was a former Licensed Practical Nurse and Paramedic. She was an avid Carolina Gamecock Fan and enjoyed the beach. She also had attended Lynwood Baptist Church. Most importantly, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived in addition to her parents of Columbia, S.C.; her loving husband of 31 years, James Perry McManus of the home; children, Courtney Lynn McCaskill (Joseph) of Lancaster, S.C., Amanda Kay McManus (Aaron Moore) Waxhaw, N.C.; 11 grandchildren with one on the way and her canine companion, Gypsy. 2 sisters, Donna McNaughton Neal (Darrell) of Columbia, S.C., Sandra Kay McNaughton Clear (Randy) of Topeka, KS and a brother, Alvin Ray McNaughton of Topeka, KS. 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Dean McNaughton, nephew, Jason Michael McNaughton and mother-in-law, Margie Loretta Zern McManus.
A memorial service to remember her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.
The family will receive friends, Monday, June 13, 2022, prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
