Obituary for Shirley "Sis" Faulkenberry
A funeral service for Shirley Lorene “Sis” Faulkenberry, 81, of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Monday, December 26, 2016, in the sanctuary of Pineview Baptist Church, Kershaw, SC. The Revs. David Robinson and Catlin Rollins will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 o'clock p.m. in the church sanctuary and other times at the home.
Miss Faulkenberry died Friday evening, December 23, 2016, at Heath Springs Residential Care, Heath Springs, SC. Born in Winnsboro, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Edward and Betty Lorene Dillon Faulkenberry. She retired from AT & T as a customer service representative. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and babysitting. She was a charter and faithful member of Pineview Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sister, Sarah F. Rollings and her husband Wesley of Heath Springs, SC; 2 brothers, Marion C. “Pete” Faulkenberry and Johnny A. Faulkenberry and his wife Joyce all of Kershaw, SC, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James A. Faulkenberry and Hazel E. Faulkenberry.
