Obituary for Selva Dean P. Roberts
Funeral services for Selva Dean Parker Roberts, 80 of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015, in the sanctuary of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. The Reverends Keith Coates and Tony Pope will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts, widow of Clarence Everett Roberts died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, SC. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Lucas, Sr., and Donnie Ella Wallace Parker. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. She also enjoyed walking and cycling. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Bradley and her husband Chester, Angie R. McClintock; a son, Ken Roberts and his wife Brenda all of Kershaw, SC; seven grandchildren, Stacey (Jody) Catoe, Chad Bradley, Chris Bradley, Amanda (Denny) McManus, Ashley Roberts, Carrie Bradley and Justin (Kayla) Scott; ten great grandchildren, Camron, Austin, Caitlyn, Caleb, Kara Grace, Chloe, Camden, Natalie, Jordyn and Peyton; a sister, Myrtle Cox of Camden, SC, and a brother, Donald Parker of Lancaster, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 o’clock p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015, in the church Family Life Center and other times at the home of Cheryl and Chester Bradley. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Roberts may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, 7737, Kershaw-Camden Highway, Kershaw, SC 29067. Baker Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. Roberts.
