Sandra Kay Lewellen Austin, 77, of Kershaw, S.C., went home to be with her Lord on Friday, January 29, 2021. Born in McColl, S.C., she was the daughter of the late James Tunstall and Cauline Taylor Tunstall. Mrs. Austin loved to sing, bake, decorate, and shop. She was a wonderful hostess and loved reading her Bible. Most of all, Mrs. Austin enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Austin was a faithful member of Flat Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Richard T. Austin; three daughters, Lorrie Sullivan (Jeffery Sr.) of Lugoff, S.C., Wendy Miles (Rev. Bart Miles) of Kershaw, S.C., and Tonya Hunter (Randall) of Lancaster, S.C., a son, Rev. Gene Scott Lewellen (Ginger) of Campobello, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Sharon Knight (Roddy) of Kershaw, S.C., and Tiffany Arms (Matthew) of Inman, S.C., 7 grandchildren, Brooke Ansley (Michael) of Lugoff, S.C., Jeffery Sullivan Jr. (Jessica) of Lancaster, S.C., Stephen Bart Miles (Misty) of Lancaster S.C., Eric Gene Miles of Kershaw, S.C., Meredith Lewellen Jones (David) of Lyman, S.C., Tiffany Kay Hunter of Lancaster, S.C., Evan Randall Hunter of Lancaster, S.C.; four great-grandchildren, Olivia Anne Miles, Cameron W. Miles, Adaline Sullivan, Hudson Lewellen Ansley; five step-grandchildren, Daniel Knight, Joshua Knight, Anna Grace Arms, Reagan Arms, and Kolten Arms; three sisters, Wanda Lockamy of Dillon, S.C., Deborah Benson of Rocky Mount, N.C., Gail Taylor of Marion, S.C., and a brother, Kenneth Tunstall of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her first husband Rev. Gene Franklin Lewellen; three brothers, Jerry Tunstall, Larry Tunstall, and Michael Tunstall; two sisters, Carolyn Jackson and Brenda Wellahan.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dillon S.C. Mrs. Austin’s son, Rev. Scott Lewellen, and her son-in-law, Rev. Bart Miles, will officiate.
