Obituary for Ruth F. Bradley
Funeral services for Ruth Faulkenberry Bradley, 92 of Kershaw will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2014, in the sanctuary of Sand Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Craigan Blankenship will officiate. Mrs. Bradley, widow of James Edward “Buck” Bradley died Monday, December 30, 2013, in KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Willie B. and Lois Roberts Faulkenberry. She retired from Springs Industries after many years of service. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. She also enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, gardening and played basketball for Mt. Pisgah High School. Surviving are 3 daughters, Linda B. Twitty and her husband William, Barbara B. Rollings and her husband Gary, Debra B. Vincent and her husband Wayne all of Kershaw; 6 grandchildren, Reggie (Liz) Payne, Amanda (Curtis) Williams, Beverly (Mitchell) Williams, Garrick (Shanon) Rollings, Jamie Vincent and Taylor Vincent; 7 great grandchildren, Kaylee Rollings, Jordan Rollings, Casey Williams, Michael Williams, Summer Payne, Marissa Williams and Brayden Williams; 2 brothers, Fred Faulkenberry, Perry Faulkenberry and a sister, Annie Mae Jones all of Kershaw. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Louise Phillips, Frances B. Raymond and 2 brothers, Manley Faulkenbery and James Faulkenberry. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at Linda’s home.
