Robert Franklin "Frank" Faulkenberry

Robert Franklin “Frank” Faulkenberry, 88, of Lancaster, passed away, Saturday, April 18, at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Kershaw, he was a son of the late Benny B. Faulkenberry and Lillie Mae Robinson Faulkenberry Taylor. He retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Mr. Faulkenberry served in the United States Air Force.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Tuesday morning, April 21, in the Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Larry S. King will officiate.

The family will acknowledge friends following the service at the graveside.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Faulkenberry may be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 5908 Tabernacle Road, Lancaster, S.C. 29720.

Surviving are 5 children, Rebecca F. Brock and her husband, Wayne of Lancaster, Glenn Faulkenberry and his wife, Sandy of Billerica, Massachusetts; Wendy F. Blackmon and her husband, Tony of Heath Springs, Penny F. Shehane and her husband, Rick of Heath Springs and Toni Snyder and her husband, Mike of Danville, Indiana; 8 grandchildren, Carlie Carpenter, Jade Harris, Ricky Shehane, Mark Baker, Samantha Shehane, Bobby Shehane, Vickie Vasquez and Kenny Vasquez; 14 great grandchildren and his brother, Darrell Faulkenberry and his wife Sheryl of Kershaw.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Ann Taylor Faulkenberry.
