Obituary for Robert "Buddy" Catoe, Jr.
Robert Hoyt “Buddy” Catoe, Jr, 71, died at his residence on Monday, August, 2, 2021. Born in Camden, S.C., he was the son of the late Robert Hoyt, Sr. and Maxine Baker Catoe. Mr. Catoe was a member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, computers, guns, and was an avid history buff.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Sandra Kaye Leaphart Catoe; 3 sons, Robert Steven Catoe (Janet) of Morrero, LA, Sam Catoe and fiancé, (Krystal), of Lancaster,S.C. and Shawn Catoe (Tabitha) of Lancaster, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlin, Alexia, Ava, and Clara; a sister, Ann Baston of Columbia, S.C.; 2 brothers, Tim Catoe (Paula) of Pendleton, S.C. and Joel Catoe of Kershaw, S.C.; nieces, Kaylea, Ali, and Anna; a number of great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 6,2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorials may be made to Kershaw Second Baptist Church, 7737 Kershaw Camden Hwy., Kershaw, S.C. 29067
