Obituary for Robbie West Truesdale
Robbie West Truesdale, 77 of Kershaw, died Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late W.H. and Nettie Mae Truesdale. Miss Truesdale was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and the Kings Daughters Sunday School Class. She loved people, always had a smile on her face, and had the gift of remembering all her beloved church members by name.
Surviving are one brother, William Truesdale and his wife Louise of Kershaw, one cherished nephew, Brian Truesdale of Kershaw, whom she loved spending time with. She is also survived by one special cousin, Diane McManus who was always by her side.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Wednesday, August 19, from the Sand Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 o’clock p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Lancaster Convalescent Center for the love and care they gave to Robbie over the past 5 and half years.
