Funeral services for Richard Dalton Branham, 28 of Camden will be held at 3:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, May 6, in the sanctuary of First Assembly of God, 1518 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Camden. Rev. Bruce Marthers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery, 4147 Red Lane Rd. Dalzell.
Mr. Branham died Tuesday, May 1. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Jacqueline Branham Thompson and Betty Branham and the late Braley Richard Branham. He was a former employee of Target Distribution Center. He loved music and played the guitar. He also enjoyed bowling, shooting pool and playing cards. Richard loved spending time with his son, Cameron, making people laugh and hanging out with his friends.
He is survived in addition to Jacqueline and Betty by his son, Cameron Dalton Branham; step-father, Christopher R. Thompson, Sr.; siblings, April Lynn Davidson, Chasity R. Thompson, Christopher R. Thompson, Jr., Braley Richard Branham, Jr. and his wife Raquel, Steven Brooks Branham and his wife Ashley and Dianne Dixon and her husband Leon.
The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, May 6 at the church.
