Obituary for Rhodie Elizabeth Bowers
Funeral services for Rhodie Elizabeth Privette Bowers, 73 of Cassatt, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Friday, June 15, from the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw. Burial will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Todd Gandy will officiate.

Mrs. Bowers, widow of Perry Junior Bowers died Tuesday, June 12, at her home. Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie Privette and Eula Lee Boykin Privette. She was a seamstress and a member of Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Bowers also enjoyed crossword puzzles and sewing.

Surviving are her children, John Perry Bowers and his wife Sonja, Willa Mae Banks, Elizabeth Louise Anderson and her husband Dale and Barbara Jean Elmore and her husband Darrell; a number of grandchildren; great grandchildren; siblings, Cecil Privette, Nellie Matuse, Albert Privette and John Privette, Jr.

The family will receive friends, Friday, June 15, from 10:00 to 10:45 o’clock a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
