Obituary for Rena McDonald Stover
Funeral services for Rena McDonald Stover, 73 of Kershaw will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church. Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Stover, widow of Columbus Brown Stover died Monday, January 27, 2014, at HarborChase, Rock Hill. Born in the Buffalo community of Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sallie Mosley McDonald. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Kershaw. Her two greatest loves were children and flowers. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy S. Lowes and her husband Denny of Rock Hill; 2 sons, Rondall Stover and his wife Eva of Heath Springs and Michael Stover and his wife Lisa of Newport, N.C.; 5 grandchildren, Jason Stover, Ethan Stover, Rachel Lowes, Ian Lowes and Noah Stover; 2 sisters, Valerie Thompson of Heath Springs and Chris Atkins of Dover, Delaware. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene McDonald. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon in the sanctuary of the church.
