Pansy Griffin Seegars, age 66, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away peacefully at Prisma Health-Richland, Columbia, S.C., on December 23, 2022. Born in Lancaster County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William Nay Griffin and Bertha Roach Griffin. She was a former employee of Kershaw Co. School District having worked at North Central High School and a former employee of Whitco. She was also a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Seegars of 48 wonderful years; her children, Richard “Richie” Dennis Seegars (Brandolyn) of Bethune, S.C.; Jennifer Seegars Snipes (Brandon) of Kershaw, S.C.; 5 grandchildren, Wade, Katie, Skylar, Korbin and Mason, who were her life and a sister, Patsy Kivett.
Pansy was a servant and faithful follower of Christ who told everyone about her Savior. She loved and prayed for everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Jan Robinson, Nadine Hinson and Betty Payne.
Funeral services for Mrs. Seegars will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2022, in the sanctuary of Buffalo Baptist Church. Rev. Larry Humphries will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the burial in the church Youth Building.
