Obituary for Ollie Mae Payne
Funeral services for Ollie Mae Payne, 83, of Camden, will be held at 11:00 o’clock a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in the sanctuary of DeKalb Baptist Church. Rev. Andrew Gunter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Payne, loving wife of the late Raymond Jack Payne, died Friday, December 14, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Lancaster Co., she was a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Catoe and Mary Annie Dease Catoe. She was a retired nurse and was an active member of DeKalb Baptist Church. She also enjoyed knitting, traveling and fishing.

Surviving are 4 children, Jackie (Thad) Stephens, Ray Payne, Chuck Payne and Linda (Todd) Payne; 9 grandchildren, Deanna Gunter, Ted Payne, Rev. Andrew Gunter, Billy Payne, Michael Payne, Courtney Payne, Brittany Payne, Austin Payne and Austin Stephens; 8 great grandchildren and siblings, Kathy Johnson, John Catoe and Lucille Humphries. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Joann Denstats, Robert Catoe, Elizabeth Catoe, Doris Chavis and Martha Holton.

The family will receive friends, Monday, December 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Payne may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200, Rye Brook, NY 10573.
