Obituary for Nelson Payne
Nelson Eddie Payne, age 79, of Heath Springs and formerly of Liberty Hill, passed away, Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Heath Springs Residential Care Center. Born in the Flat Creek community of Kershaw, he was a son of the late Hubert Elmore Payne and Ella Jane Lucas Payne.

Mr. Payne retired from Springs Industries and was a member of White Bluff Baptist Church, Kershaw. He loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Payne also enjoyed painting and coloring.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Lisa Payne and Norma Jean Estridge; 4 grandchildren, Charity Faulkenberry, Nicole Summitt, Pandora Faulkenberry and Brett Estridge and 4 great grandchildren, Brooklyn Manago, Alanta Manago, Chardanai Anthony and Willow-Grace Hinson.

The family will gather, Sunday, January 5, 2020, from 3:00 to 4:00 o’clock p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw for a time of remembering Mr. Payne’s life and visiting with friends and family. Mr. Payne will be cremated following the gathering.
