Obituary for Nellie T. Faulkenberry
Nellie Taylor Faulkenberry, 99, of Kershaw, SC, passed away, Sunday morning, November 8, 2020, at her home. Born in Kershaw, SC, she was a daughter of the late Cebron Bogan Taylor and Annie Bradley Taylor. She retired from Tic-Tac. Mrs. Faulkenberry enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are 2 sons; Hazel (Judy) Faulkenberry and Donnie (Lena) Faulkenberry, all of Kershaw; 2 daughters, Brenda (Bill) Lane of Lancaster and Sue Faulkenberry of Kershaw; her son-in-law, Danny E. Horton of Kershaw; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Bertha Outen and Mary Gandy; a brother, Jack Taylor all of Kershaw and special caregiver, Kimberly Rollings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Samuel Faulkenberry and her daughter, Patricia F. Horton.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday morning, November 10, 2020, in Abney Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Jackie Jenkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service in the cemetery.
