Obituary for Nadine G. Hinson
Funeral services for Nadine Griffin Hinson, 74, will be held on Thursday, December 5, at 1:00 p.m. in Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Revs. Steve Anglin and Thurmond Johnson will officiate.
Mrs. Hinson died Monday, December 2, at Kershaw Health. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Bertha Roach Griffin and William Nay Griffin. She was a member of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church where she served as WMU Director and a member of the choir. Mrs. Hinson was also an EMT with the Buffalo- Mt. Pisgah Rescue Squad.
Surviving are her husband, Ronny Edward Hinson; 2 sons, Eddie Hinson (Holly) of Lugoff, and Ron Hinson (Heather) of West Columbia; 2 step- daughters, Beth Roberson of Vidalia, Ga., and Rhonda Fisher (Max) of Elkmont, Al; 4 grandchildren, Ryan Hinson, Joshua Hinson, Rylan Hinson and Cole Hinson; 4 step-grandchildren, Matthew Fisher, Christy Terwilliger, Amanda Page (Joey) and Justin Roberson; 9 step-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Betty Payne (Jimmy), Patsy Kivett, and Pansy Seegars (Dennis) all of Kershaw. She was predeceased by a sister Jan Robinson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home.
