Obituary for Mildred Hammond Truesdale
A funeral service for Mildred Hammond Truesdale, 89 of Heath Springs, SC will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, from the sanctuary of Flint Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Truesdale died Monday December 7, 2014, at her home. Born in Kershaw, SC , she was the daughter of the late Ernest F. and Belle Hinson Hammond. She was a longtime employee of B.C. Moore Department Store and a homemaker. She also was a member of Flint Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mrs. Truesdale was married to the late Victor Carlyle Truesdale, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2001. Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law; Vick Truesdale and his wife Debbie, Mark Truesdale and his wife Melisa; two granddaughters, Kelli T. Cobb and her husband Tripp, Shanna T. Fenchel and her husband Jonas all of Heath Springs; a grandson, Joe McIsaac and his wife Nikki of Catawba, SC; three great grandchildren, Hannah Cobb, Harper Fenchel and Knox McIsaac. She was predeceased by thirteen brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service in the church Family Life Center and other times at the home, 1310 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs, SC.
