Obituary for Michael Franklin Johnson
A memorial service to remember the life of Michael Franklin “Mike” Johnson, 55, of Kershaw, SC, will be held at 1:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, January 27, in the sanctuary of Charlesboro Baptist Church. The Revs. Charles McAteer, Jackie Bailey and Mr. Daniel Johnson will officiate. Inurnment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the inurnment in the church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home of his parents.
Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, January 23, at CMC-Union, Monroe, NC. Born in Monroe, NC, he was the only child of Walter and Barbara Mungo Johnson. He was a former employee of 25 years of Springs Industries and an auctioneer. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, Class of 1980 and a member of Charlesboro Baptist Church. He also loved to fish, grill outdoors, take pictures and fly his drone.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Kershaw, are his wife, Regina Haselden Johnson of Kershaw; his son, Daniel Johnson and his daughter, Michaela Johnson both of Kershaw.
