Obituary for Mary Katherine Truesdale
Mary Katherine Dease Truesdale, 71, of Bethune, SC, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at KershawHealth, Camden. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Henry Dease and Myrtle Catoe Dease. She was a homemaker and a member of Cassatt Baptist Church. Mrs. Truesdale also enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Tracey and her husband Darren; her son, John D. Truesdale, Jr. and his wife Joy; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Janie Truesdale and her husband Harvey, Ann Walters and her husband Bill and a brother, Henry Leroy Dease, Jr. and his wife Crystal.
The family will hold a memorial service, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 10:00 o'clock a.m. in the sanctuary of Timrod Baptist Church. The Revs. Jeremy Ussery and Paul Goff will officiate.
The family will also receive friends briefly following the service in the church Family Life Center.
