Obituary for Mary Frances Cauthen Sullivan
Mary Frances Cauthen Sullivan, 72, of Heath Springs, S.C., passed away, Saturday, December 25, 2021, at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center, Lancaster, S.C., Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was a daughter of the late James Alvin Cauthen and Frances Alma Hilton Cauthen. Mrs. Sullivan retired from Springs Industries after 38 years of service. She had attended Bethany Baptist Church, Westville, S.C.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and hunting arrowheads. She also loved to shop, especially Wal-Mart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sullivan; the father of her son, Willie B. Catoe; 2 brothers, Bill Cauthen and Fred Cauthen; a half-brother, Jimmy Cauthen and a half-sister, Lib Moore.
She is survived by her son, Eric Catoe and close friend, Lemuel Bolin.
Funeral services will be conducted, Friday afternoon, December 31, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C. Rev. Jeremy Ussery will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Westville, S.C.
The family will greet friends, Friday, prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Sullivan may be made to the Thiel- Meyer Animal Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, S.C. 29020.
