Obituary for Mary Ann Truesdale
A service to remember and celebrate the life of Mary Ann Coates Truesdale, 77, of Kershaw, will be held at 5:00 o’clock p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Bishop David Levister and Rev. Ronnie Hinson will officiate the service of celebration.
Mrs. Truesdale, passed away, Thursday , January 3, 2019, at White Oak Manor, Lancaster. Born in Kershaw, she was a daughter of the late Alex Montgomery Coates and Dessie Wright Coates. She retired as a certified nursing assistant for White Oak Manor, Lancaster. Mrs. Truesdale enjoyed playing jeopardy, reading, watching crime stories and working puzzle books. She also was of Baptist faith.
Surviving are 2 sons, Sidney Guy Truesdale and Robert Glenn Truesdale both of Kershaw; 2 daughters, Jewell “Kitt” Truesdale Wade and her husband Will of Chester and Elizabeth “Beth” Truesdale of Jefferson; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Truesdale and 5 brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends immediately following the celebration service at the funeral home.
