Obituary for Mary Allen Morgan
A funeral service for Mary Allen Morgan, 88 of Kershaw, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, at Kershaw Second Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Hinson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the church Family Life Center and other times at the home.
Ms. Morgan died peacefully, Wednesday, June 1, at her home. Born in Forest City, NC, she was a daughter of the late Worth and Annie Belle Lavender Allen and the step-daughter of the late Ethel Deese Allen. She retired from Springs Industries and was a faithful member of Kershaw Second Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Ms. Morgan was a member of Kershaw Senior Citizens Group. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her church and traveling .
